RADIO TOWER: Adventist Media is seeking to purchase a new radio tower within a few months. It is needed because the original tower was damaged during Hurricane Matthew. We strongly suspect foul play so the matter is under investigation. Currently, we are using the bottom part of the tower as a make-shift tower which is not high enough, thus limiting our signal. We are seeking to purchase a new tower between 100 feet and 150 feet in height. This may range in price from $12,000 to $50,000. Continue to support Adventist Media with your financial donations and your prayers.

PLEDGE-A-THON: Our first Pledge-A-Thon was held in May 2016. Thanks to those of you who called in and donated helping to raise $3000 during this initiative. Our next Pledge-A-Thon is May 29 to 31, 2017. This is a time when persons can call our telephone lines and pledge to give a certain amount, whether it’s a one-time donation or consistently to our media ministry.

WEBPAGE: Our website usage is growing daily. Since April 1, 2016, more than 12,000 individuals have visited the site. We encourage you to go to the website at least twice a week—Mondays and Fridays, if not every day. It is truly “The Connecting Place” for every Adventist and friends of Adventists. All you need to know about our church is waiting there for you. Visit

Experience the Transformation: Impact Bahamas

The major emphasis of the churches in the South Bahamas Conference at this time is the fulfilling of God's mission through its strategic initiative called Impact Bahamas. It is envisioned that in the first quarter of this year, every member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in New Providence and the Family of Islands of the South Bahamas Conference will take the sealing message found in Revelation 7:1-3 and 14:6-12, to the four corners of these territories. In order to do this effectively, quadrants have been organized.

In these quadrants, churches are grouped for the purpose of conducting evangelistic series in the east, west, north and south in New Providence and the Family Islands.

Here is a view of the cluster of churches in the quadrants [ See official page ] :

Quadrant 1: Centreville, New Haven, Ephesus, La Senda de La Vida, Agape, Message of Hope, Peardale, and Ebenezer.

Quadrant 2: New Providence, Real Harvest, Living Faith, Maranatha, Philadelphia, and Redemption.

Quadrant 3: Hillview, Bethany, Good News, Breath of Life, Bethel, Berea, and Adelaide.

Quadrant 4: Grant’s Town, Johnson Park, Francophone, and New Englerston.

Further, the coordinators along with the evangelists will lead the planning and organization and execution of the Impact Bahamas evangelistic series. The four evangelists are:

  • Pastor Leonardo Rahming, Quadrant 1
  • Pastor Larry Green, Quadrant 2
  • Pastor Edward St. Fleur, Quadrant 3
  • Pastor Basil Sturrup, Quadrant 4

In addition, the coordinators and assistants are:

  • Pastor Valentino Campbell and Pastor Jamal Franklin, Quadrant 1
  • Pastor Kent Price and Pastor Nikita Thompson, Quadrant 2
  • Pastor Lynden Williams and Pastor Kenny Deveaux, Quadrant 3
  • Pastor Michael Toote and Pastor Mark Ewen, Quadrant 4

The Impact targets six centers of life. These are:

  • Me
  • My Family
  • My Church
  • My School
  • My Place Of Work
  • My Community

The impact will be extremely effective in the community if the impact is first experienced in me, my family, my church, my school and my place of work.

At this point, The Bahamas needs to be impacted by the word and deeds of the everlasting gospel, in the context of the sealing message. Great discomfort and angst prevail as a spate of violence and crime that continue senselessly. Many feel marginalized and cynical about the prospect of the future. Economic hardship is compounded by the downgrade of the country’s sovereign credit rating. This has created a climate that is ripe for a divine message. There is a sense that institutions have lost their moral and spiritual mooring. This is an opportune time, a " Kairos moment " to deliver the last day message found in Revelation 14:6-12. Let's Impact Bahamas! -Pastor Peter Joseph, Personal Ministries Director
