"Thanks everyone for your prayers. All of the officers and civilians on the island of Mayaguana are doing fine. A few trees were knocked down, there is a small amount of down power lines as well. Three churches received minor damages to their roofs and two homes on the received extensive damages to their roofs. No roofs were taken off, no homes destroyed, the roads have a small amount of debris in pockets but cars can still pass. The airport runway is completely free of any debris and the settlements did not flood. Although rocks were tossed by the waves in the road way leading to the Betsy Bay Dock and main road leading to the Bay (A. Bay) is covered by water from the pond and sea I give God thanks."
