The Fifth Quadrennial Session for the South Bahamas Conference of Seventh day Adventists commenced on Sunday November 4, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at the Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church, Tonique Williams-Darling Highway.
The administration of the Atlantic Caribbean Union (ATCU), headed by Pastor Peter Kerr, were on hand to oversee the start of the session which seated hundreds of delegates and guests from churches in this region (253 regular delegates representing 49 churches and 96 special delegates). Administrators from the field within ATCU are also present, namely the Cayman Islands and North Bahamas conferences and the Turks and Caicos Island Mission. Presenting the charge for the evening was Pastor Max Laurent, field secretary of the Inter-American Division of Seventh-day Adventists.

The session continues Monday morning at 8 o'clock with further business and the election of officers for the new term.
