Welcome to the Bethany Church where resurrection takes place thru anointed preaching & Holy Ghost singing, in worship and fellowship. Today we celebrate Youth Day. We welcome Bro Demargio Green as the Speaker. Bro Green is a ministerial student at NCU, Jamaica. Thanks to the Youth Team for their stellar efforts.
Congrats to Sis Amber Miller who was baptized last Sabbath, August 1. She received the right hand of fellowship and her baptismal certificate at Prayer meeting on Wednesday evening.

If you are interested in baptism, please contact the Pastor or one of the Elders.

NCU graduation is this weekend in Mandeville Jamaica. Elder L V McMillan will receive his terminal degree. Congrats to all graduates.

The Youth are leading out in 10 days of Revival at the New Providence church on Soldier Road. Speakers are Bros. Manasseh Simms and Newton Joseph. We all want to support our young people. August 8-22.

The Good News Gospel Explosion Crusade begins Saturday night 12 September at 7 pm. with Evangelist Claudius Morgan. This requires that we unite in Wednesday evening Rallies. Kindly note the dates below. August 12, 26, & September 2. Sabbath September 5 is a special Back to Faith service with an emphasis on reclamation. Tent pitching is Sunday 9 August.

You are encouraged to read the Bible thru this year and be faithful to God.  Return a faithful tithe and freewill offering and watch God bless you more than you can receive.

Bethany’s prayer focus for August 9-15 is the Fruit of Patience and August 16-22 is for the Fruit of Joy. Prayer requests: Sis Edgecombe, Keisha Stuart, daughter of Sis Ida Johnson, Sis Terri Antonio and Bro Benjamin Darling. Sympathies to those who lost loved ones.
We would like to organize on Wednesday evenings to have a team out visiting and nurturing our members. Please submit your names if you are interested in this ministry.
 
Interested in sharpening your public speaking skills? See Sister Dillette to register for the Effective Communicator Class on September 13th and 20th.
 

Any person wanting to assist and share their talents with the church is asked to contact the Pastor or Elders. We want to provide opportunity for you to share your talents with God’s people.
Bethany is delighted to worship with you and your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, classmates, for whatever special occasion God blesses you with. Please let us know so that we can rejoice with you.
Please we invite you to PLEASE plan to be with us each Wednesday night at 7:15. Allow the Holy Spirit to Rekindle the Passion and Fan the Flames so that we may Share His Joy! Why not bring someone with you to church.
Congratulations to Sis Jacqueline Collie for completing the requirements for the Doctor in Education. Graduation will be held on 3rd. September.

Elder Milton Lewis has been voted as the Principal of Bahamas Academy.

The Adventist Book and Nutrition Center is opened on Sundays from 9 am - 1pm.
