Youth of the month forApril: GRANTS TOWN
Mykel Mackey is a 17 year old who will be celebrating her 18th brthday on the 29th of April. Mykel is a member of Grants Town and she attends Bahamas Academy, where she is a 12th grade student, as well as the Deputy Head Girl and Senior Class Asst. chaplain. She is also the President of the Grants Town Youth Connection. Ms. Mackey enjoy's reading , being around youth and witnessing for the Lord.
Youth of the month for April: Centreville
Vashti Hanna Johnson was born the 16th of June 1989 in Nassau Bahamas, and was raised on the Family Island of Matthew Town Inagua. She is married to Jeremy Johnson and is a Mother of One Son Jayden Johnson. Vashti attended and graduated from Inagua All-Age School as Deputy Head Prefect displaying true leadership; she was also recognized for outstanding Achievements in the areas of Creative Arts & Music from the Ministry of Youth, Sports & Housing and was rewarded also by the E. Clement Bethel Arts Drama as the National winner.
Today Vashti serves as a member on the Centreville Seventh Day Adventist AYS Team and she recognizes that it's neither by her might nor by her power but by God's Holy Spirit she is able to stand alive and to serve in whatever area He has been called her too. Her number one passion is to see the Youths of the Church realize that they too play a vital role in the closing scenes of this Earth's History. Future goals are to become skilled in trade work, whereas she can show the practicality of the Gospel & make it more applicable to both young and Elderly so that all can be prepared for last day events.
Youth of the month April: Hillview
Ryan R. R. Hanna is the "baby" of Sis. Jennifer Rolle.
He graduated with honors from Cherub Academy in June 2013.
He is and continues to be a leader among his peers where he is greatly respected.
Ryan is a proud member of the Pathfinder Band where he holds the position of lead drummer.
He is also a member of the ALL male group choral - Sons of Our Father, the Hillview SDA Church Youth Choir and is also active in the Hillview Youth Department. He has received numerous awards including completing and competing in the Marathon Bahamas relay representing the Hillview SDA Church.
He enjoys of course playing drums and singing and also passing on his drum knowledge to his nephews - Jabari & Luciano.
He aspires to add the trumpet to his musical collection which he will pursue in August of this year whilst attending the AppleHill Musical School.
He wants to further his musical career by enrolling in the next Royal Bahamas Police Force Band Squad.
He asks that you continue to pray for him and his family that we will all see the Savior soon.
Youth of the month for April: Maranatha
Henswhyte Williams - is a student at Doris Johnson. He has really excelled recently in his involvement with all church activities. A young man with a purpose, driven to do the work of The Lord without looking for anything in return. Driven, focused and helpful are just a small group of words to describe this Child of God.
