The Good News Seventh-day Adventist Church, Flamingo Gardens, Nassau, The Bahamas, was packed on Sabbath afternoon, February 23, 2019, with Adventist Youth leaders, Pathfinder Directors and other youth assistants from churches on the island of New Providence.  They attended the Annual Consecration Service for youth leaders that begin each new year and to receive certificates for their successful completion of the leadership training course entitled “Adventist Certification and Leadership Assessment for Salvation and Service.” (A.C.L.A.S.S.), or the Ten Hour Pathfinder and Adventist Youth Staff Training Course.   The service was organized and led by Pastor Jamal Franklyn, Youth Director for the Conference and Assistant Youth Director, Patrick Wilson, Jr.  See photos below.

The enthusiasm was high, especially when Elder Curtis Bryan, the Coordinator of Men’s Ministries for the South Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, shared the charge.  He encouraged the leaders to be role models and effectively lead so that others following them will also be able to lead when their time comes.  Also attending the service and participating in the distribution of certificates were a number of South Bahamas Conference officials, namely, Pastor Kenny Deveaux, President, Mrs. Kimberly Bryan, Chief Financial Officer and Pastor T. Basil Sturrup, Ministerial Director.
