GREETINGS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
29 AUGUST 2015

Welcome to the Bethany Church where resurrection takes place thru anointed preaching & Holy Ghost singing, in worship and fellowship. We welcome you on behalf of Pastor Clarke, the committed officers & faithful members. Please feel at home in the presence of God and our church family. You are among friends who are delighted to worship with you. We appreciate you as our guest of honor. We treasure your presence and endeavor to do all in our power to ensure that your worship experience is enjoyable, profitable and positively life changing. Special welcome to Pastor Leonard and Sis. Denise Johnson and family.

The Good News Gospel Explosion Crusade with Evangelist Claudius Morgan begins Saturday night 12 September at 7 pm. Please share the names of persons that you are inviting to the meetings.

Bethany is delighted to welcome Ministerial Intern, Pastor Manasseh Simms who will spend the next 2 months with us at Bethany.
There will be a joint Rally at the Tentsite on Wednesday night with Evangelist Morgan in preparation for the upcoming crusade. All should be in attendance.
There will be a joint service this evening at 6pm at Hillview with a Back to Faith emphasis.
You are encouraged to pray daily, read the Bible thru this year and be faithful to God.  Return a faithful tithe and freewill offering and watch God bless you more than you can imagine.
We will conduct a child dedication today at the beginning of the divine service.

Bethany’s prayer focus for September 6 - 12 is for a life of Service and Sacrifice. Prayer requests: Sis Edgecombe, Keisha Stuart, daughter of Sis Ida Johnson, Sis Terri Antonio and Bro Benjamin Darling. Sympathies to those who lost loved ones, including Sis. Myrtle Munroe (husband, Ronald funeral today at 2pm) and Bro Howard Knowles [Cousin’s funeral today ay 11].
Last Sabbath, the church chose the Large Committee as the process for the selection of officers for 2016 continues. The Church also approved the composition of the Nominating Committee as 7 plus 2 alternatives. This is consistent with past practice.

Forms will be distributed to each member today for your input in the selection of officers for the New Year. You are invited to include your suggested area of willing service.

The Conference is in need of chairs for the upcoming crusade. If you have any, please leave at the Tent.

A Visitation Ministry has been formed to visit with "sick & shut-in & absent members, and to work with the Pastoral team to stay in touch with newly baptized members and any one requiring visitation".  This is an opportunity for ALL to be involved.  Please contact Personal Ministries.

Interested in sharpening your public speaking skills? See Sister Dilette for the Effective Communicator Class on Sept. 13th and 20th.

Any person wanting to assist and share their talents with the church is asked to contact the Pastor or Elders. We want to provide opportunity for you to share your talents with God’s people.
Bethany is delighted to worship with you and your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, classmates, for whatever special occasion God blesses you with. Please let us know so that we can rejoice with you.
