Logos for April 25, 2020--Soul Care-How to Avoid Infection from Another Pandemic. Another deadly pandemic is even more fatal than the coronavirus. Sin’s virus has infected the entire human family, and we’re on the front lines of the battle. Church administrators, pastors, departmental directors, and gospel workers of all types also need personal protective equipment. If in our busyness we neglect our personal protective equipment, we are likely to be infected with the virus of sin. If in our frantic rush to minister to others we don’t have on our protective equipment, we, too, may contract a fatal disease.

Logos for April 18, 2020--Social Togetherness Is Not Lost. These are unprecedented times in the history of humankind and the Christian church. The Coronavirus COVID19 is bringing the entire world to its knees in disbelief and fear. There are 210 countries in the world, and all are battling COVID19. For the past few days, I have been studying the response of all countries and noted that all governments have instituted some form of curfew, emergency orders or lockdown, to stem the spread of this unpredictable, deadly virus.

Over the past few weeks we have been greatly affected by COVID-19 and it is continuing its destructive sweep over the countries of the world. What is so amazing with this disease is that it has no respect for a person’s status in life, race, religion or age. And yes, I say age because even though it is said that elderly persons are among the individuals that are more susceptible to this disease, this virus continues to affect our children as well. Feelings of anxiety, fear, and helplessness are common emotions as we go through these difficult times. For some persons, this crisis compounds other issues they were already dealing with such as grief, depression, domestic violence, and abuse.
